Postal Service to build massive center near airport

The U.S. Postal Service plans to build a 626,000-square-foot processing and distribution center near Nashville International Airport.

The new Nashville center will rise at Old Murfreesboro Pike and Faircloth Road on land owned by the Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority. Panattoni Development Co. will oversee construction and is working with the USPS on traffic studies of the area.
