Imogene + Willie owners sued over breach of contract

The owners of high-end denim shop Imogene + Willie have been sued in federal court by a former investor alleging breach of contract.

The suit, filed in the U.S. District Court of Middle Tennessee on Friday, alleges that Robert Anastario loaned Imogene + Willie owners Carrie and Matthew Eddmenson $200,000 in 2012. Anastario, who is based in Bowling Green, Kentucky, said in the filing that the contract guaranteed him a 5 percent equity payment if the company sold, and a 15 percent ownership interested in case of default.
