Envision taps veteran lobbyist for VP role

Envision Healthcare has added a veteran health care lobbyist to its government affairs team, growing the Nashville-based company’s lobbying arm as Democrats take control of Congress and the presidency.

The physician staffing and health care services company tapped Patrick Velliky, former vice president of legislation for the Federation of American Hospitals, for the role. He fills the position once held by Meg Lafave, who was promoted to senior vice president of people and government affairs in December.
