Gulch preps for Mexican restaurant

Atlanta-based restaurateur and chef Ford Fry has taken another step toward opening his Superica in a small building in The Gulch.

The casual Tex-Mex restaurant will be located in a nondescript concrete block building being overhauled and with an address of 601 Overton St. A permit, valued at $2 million, has been issued to allow for the build-out of the interior space. The local office of Atlanta-based Choate Construction Co. will handle the work.
