Nashville’s private institutions of higher education are generating billions of dollars of economic activity every year, according to a new report from the Tennessee Independent Colleges and Universities Association.

Seven institutions across Nashville generated a collective more than $12 billion during the 2023-academic year, according to the report — which was in part assembled and verified by Regional Economic Consulting Group.
