The Metropolitan Nashville Airport Authority Board of Commissioners announced Thursday it unanimously has elected Dr. Dexter Samuels as its new chair.

After previously serving as vice chair, Samuels (pictured) succeeds Bobby Joslin (who had led the board since 2016) and becomes the MNAA first African-American chairman, according to a release.
