Work to start on apartments on ex-Sam’s site

Charlotte-based Crescent Communities announced Thursday construction is set to start on a residential development on the site of a former Sam’s Club near Bellevue.

Novel (stylized as “NOVEL”) Harpeth Heights will include 322 residences in four buildings, according to a release. Crescent and development partner Pearl Street Partners of Brentwood recently purchased the West Davidson County property at 615 Old Hickory Blvd., for $3.2 million, according to Metro records. The seller was Sam’s Real Estate Business Trust.
