A West Nashville property eyed for a mixed-use building planned for a site adjacent to the Lions Head Trader Joe's grocery store and Target has sold for $14.58 million.

The address is 92 White Bridge Road (previously 40 White Bridge Road had been used).

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds, the new owner is an LLC affiliated with Charlotte-based Crescent Communities.

The seller was an LLC affiliated with San Francisco-based Stockbridge Real Estate, which paid $45.3 million for the property in January 2020 along with the Trader Joe's property.

As the Post reported in June 2024, Crescent Communities is seeking to develop the 3.5-acre site with Novel Richland Creek. The building will offer 277 apartments and some ground-level retail and restaurant space. 

The Metro Planning Commission in August seemingly approved administrative final specific plan (SP) rezoning for the site, home to a vacant structure that most recently accommodated a Stein Mart store.
