Site, groundbreaking date announced for Williamson County mixed-use project

More than 2.5 years after announcing plans to develop an area site with mixed-use development anchored by a high-end outlet retail center, the team behind the project announced on Wednesday a 2026 groundbreaking and location in Williamson County’s Thompson Station.

As the Post reported in June 2022 (read here), Indianapolis-based Simon Property Group — the owner and operator of The Mall at Green Hills and Opry Mills — will partner with Nashville-based Adventurous Journeys (AJ) Capital Partners to develop the site with what will be called Nashville Premium Outlets.
