The downtown site of the Schermerhorn Symphony Center is slated for two free-standing outdoor digital signs — towering structures that likely will rank among Nashville’s tallest and most distinctive of their type once installed.

A document the Nashville Symphony has submitted to the Metro Planning Department notes one sign will replace the existing sign located at 1 Symphony Place and Fourth Avenue South, near the SoBro’s property’s prominent water fountain (see here). That sign will be three-sided.
