Beer taproom concept Hoppin’ and burger-and-fries chain Shake Shack will be the first restaurants to operate at River North, with both slated to open by year’s end.

MRP Realty and Creek Lane Capital are developing the River North site with The Landings (see the site here), with the pair of food-and-beverage businesses to operate from 2300 Bowline, one of two structures sitting adjacent to the Cumberland River.Â
