Two local investors have paid $2 million for a modernist-era Jefferson Street apartment building they plan to update.

Ryan Hooper and Brad Bars now own the two-story, 14-unit structure, which offers an address of 1044 Jefferson St. and has no specific name. Mary’s Old-Fashioned Pit Bar-B-Que, a long-standing North Nashville business, is located two buildings to the west on the storied street.
