A 53-story hotel and residential building — which would rank as Nashville’s tallest skyscraper if standing today — is being eyed for SoBro.

According to a document filed with Metro, the planned tower would rise at 319 Peabody St., which offers 0.35 acres and a small brick building housing Peabody Corner Food Court and the 0.61-acre 504 Fourth Ave. S.
