Ex-NFL player pays $4M for TSU-area apartments

An entity affiliated with Brad Bars, a locally based real estate financier who played briefly with the NFL's New York Giants, has paid $4 million for a North Nashville site near Tennessee State University.

The seller of the 2.37-acre property, located at 1200 W.H. Davis Drive, was an entity that includes Church of the Living God. Located near where Interstate 40 crosses over Jefferson Street, the property is home to the 46-unit, multi-building apartment complex House of God Plaza Apartments. It sits next to Court Villa Apartments.
