A New York-based real estate company with $35 billion in assets has paid approximately $60 million for downtown’s Holston House hotel building.

According to a Davidson County Register of Deeds document, the seller was an LLC affiliated with New Orleans-based owner HRI Properties. In early 2016, HRI paid $18.2 million for what was then known as the James Robertson Apartments building and converted it into the boutique hotel business.
