A mixed-use building planned for downtown’s Rutledge Hill has seen its height reduced and exterior design significantly changed, with the development company eyeing the project to seek Metro Development and Housing Agency Design Review Committee approval.

Previously, Pinnacle 4th & Lea LLC planned a 24-story building to offer hotel, apartment and restaurant space, and to rise on a 0.90-acre site at 600 Fourth Ave. S., with the property to be consolidated with a parcel at 616 Fourth Ave. S. for the hotel project. In September 2024, the MDHA DRC approved the concept plan for the project.
