BZA OKs variance for planned Elliston Place project

Nashville-based development company Giarratana has landed a key Metro governmental body approval for its 17-story mixed-use tower proposed for Elliston Place and for which a 2027 construction start is eyed.

On Thursday, the Metro Board of Zoning Appeals voted to OK a variance the company requested related to height setback and height control plane requirements in place at 2200-2204 Elliston Place. As the Post reported in August 2024, Giarratana plans a mixed-used tower to replace the existing (and now vacant) Elliston Place structure that last housed, among other businesses, Corner Bar.
