Two Broadwest penthouse condominiums have sold for a collective $14.8 million — with the transaction seemingly ranking as Nashville’s most significant of its type in terms of square footage and the second-most noteworthy related to dollar amount.

The buyer, details about whom the Post has been unable to determine, recently paid $7.2 million for a 3,410-square-foot Broadwest penthouse, the equivalent of $2,111 per square foot. Now that same buyer has spent $7.6 million on an adjacent 3,455-square-foot unit, with that transaction equal to $2,199 per square foot. The latter figure is a record for a residential unit in the Broadwest condo and hotel (a Hilton Conrad) high-rise.
