NASA has awarded a $750,000 grant to Austin Peay State University GIS Center and Meharry Medical College for a collaborative study drone-driven health care delivery during natural disasters.

The three-year study will focus on how custom-designed 3D-printed drones can be used to advance air mobility technology for emergency response and health care applications, particularly in areas that are difficult to access.
