VU board chair donates $20M for residential, engineering efforts

Vanderbilt University announced Monday that VU Board of Trust Chairman Bruce Evans and his wife, Bridgitt, are committing $20 million to support both university initiatives focused on the undergraduate living-learning experience and leadership positions in the school of engineering.

The gift also includes an unrestricted bequest for future use, according to a release. A portion of the donation will support the Bruce and Bridgitt Evans Dean’s Chair in Engineering.
