Titans assistant McKenzie to join Lions

After being linked to the vacant Tennessee defensive coordinator position after the retirement of Dean Pees, Titans inside linebacker coach Tyrone McKenzie is reportedly leaving to take the same position with the Detroit Lions.

The Athletic’s John Glennon first reported the news, while 104.5 The Zone’s Brent Daugherty reported the Lions were McKenzie’s new team. ESPN’s Turron Davenport reported the split was mutual.
