Local edtech startup raises $1M

Nashville-based edtech startup Possip, founded by former local Teach For America executive director Shani Dowell, has raised more than $1 million in funding.

Possip already has more than 50,000 users in nearly 100 schools. The company markets software that generates weekly reports from feedback given by parents, students and community members to school administrators.
