Fueled by the largest donation in Lipscomb University history, an approximately $10.5 million building to house the school’s college of entertainment and arts will see ground break this fall.

The two-story 33,000-square-foot George Shinn Events Center will be located adjacent to the Ezell Center and will accommodate the George Shinn College of Entertainment & the Arts. It will include, according to information LU released, a “grand” two-story lobby; collaborative classroom and studio space; a cinematic editing and viewing studio; offices; and a state-of-the-art event hall that will seat up to 1,000 people and will be used for receptions, class lectures, corporate events, dinners and creative performances.
