McWhorter to lead Blackburn transition teams

Tennessee Gov.-elect Marsha Blackburn has announced her transition advisory committee and transition team are to be led by Stuart McWhorter, who serves as Tennessee Deputy Governor and Commissioner of the Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development under current Gov. Bill Lee.

That transition advisory committee also includes statewide policy experts such as former state Rep. Donna Barrett, former Methodist Healthcare’s Senior Vice President and Chief of Staff for Public Policy and Regulatory Affairs Cato Johnson and economic development consultant Arch Trimble. Nashville's Julie Beaman and Steve Brophy are also on the committee.
