A new committee announced by Mayor Freddie O’Connell could spark further plans for a relocation of Nashville General Hospital.

O’Connell last week announced the creation of the Vision Committee, which will study the possibility of constructing a new hospital. This follows last fall’s renewal of a professional service agreement (set to end in 2027) between Nashville General Hospital and Meharry Medical College, which have long been at odds with each other.
