Museum commission punts director decision

The Douglas Henry State Museum Commission on Friday hit pause on temporarily promoting Mary Jane Crockett-Green, front right.

The Douglas Henry State Museum Commission has put off until early January a decision on a interim director to replace the retiring Lois Riggins-Ezzell.

The commission, which met last Friday with several members absent, decided to delay a vote on a recommendation by the DHSMC's Search Committee earlier that day to promote Deputy Director Mary Jane Crockett-Green to the role, based in part over concerns raised by the Post last week over nepotistic hiring practices.
