Hummingbird head optimistic about 'Wonderful Life' film effort

The founder and CEO of Nashville-based music-for-films-and-TV-commercials company Hummingbird Productions says he is optimistic there will be no legal tussle with Paramount Pictures regarding attempts to move forward on production of the planned It's A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story.

Bob Farnsworth -- whose iconic jingles company has contributed to the creation of, among others, the legendary Budweiser frog television commercial and a Coca-Cola TV spot that aired during the 2012 Olympics -- said he and Orlando, Fla.-based Star Partners, Inc., are covering all bases regarding the effort. The Associated Press reported last week that Paramount, which claims to own the rights to the original It's a Wonderful Life, plans to fight the production of It's A Wonderful Life: The Rest of the Story.
