OrthoLink Physicians Corp., a closely held Brentwood-based provider of orthopedic physician practice management services and owner of surgery centers, has been acquired by a three-year-old Texas company that is planning for an initial public stock offering.

OrthoLink is affiliated with local centers at Baptist Hospital, Centennial Medical Center, Middle Tennessee Medical Center (Murfreesboro) and the Physician Pavilion Surgery Center. According to a filing with the SEC, the company has a preliminary letter of intent regarding a surgery center at the St. Thomas Medical System.
