Longtime Centerstone executive Bob Vero will step down as regional CEO of the behavioral health and addiction provider next May, capping a four-decade career with the nonprofit and one of its predecessors.

Vero has been CEO of Centerstone’s operations in Tennessee since 2002 and before that was its COO. He has worked in behavioral health since 1976, beginning his career at Creighton University, and was CEO of Luton Mental Health Services in Nashville before that organization moved under the Centerstone umbrella in 1998.
