Harwell, Moth spend big before election

Judging by the state of her television ad buys, House Speaker Beth Harwell is worried about losing her race — worried enough to spend $134,000 on ads and $181,367 total on her campaign since Sept. 30.

That brings her spending against Democratic challenger Chris Moth to around $238,000 since the August primary. In comparison, she spent $8,111 in October 2014 when she faced Moth the last time.
