Robert Carroll drove in two runs with a two-out double in the bottom of the sixth as the Goodlettsville All-Stars rallied for a 3-2 victory over Bend North (Ore.) on Thursday, the opening day of the Little League World Series.

Trailing 2-1 through five innings, Goodlettsville loaded the bases with one out when Bend North’s starting pitcher Zack Reynolds reached his pitch limit. His replacement struck out the first batter he faced, which brought Carroll to the plate. His line drive was just out of the reach of the right fielder and drove in brothers Tanner and Tyler Jones with the tying and winning runs, respectively.
