Fisk names provost, VP for academic affairs

Fisk University has announced the appointment of Dr. Vann Newkirk as provost and vice president for academic affairs

Serving as Fisk’s chief academic officer, Newkirk (pictured), who will begin his tenure on Oct. 1. He will oversee all academics and help implement a new strategic plan for the university, according to release.
