Endeavor buys health IT pubs, events

Locally based Endeavor Business Media has acquired a website and series of conferences focused on health care IT from a New York-based peer.

Terms of the deal for Vendome Group’s Healthcare Informatics Group, which includes healthcare-informatics.com and the Health IT Summit series of conferences, aren’t being disclosed. The people working at those businesses have been hired by Endeavor, which was launched about a year ago by Chris Ferrell after he left SouthComm, the former parent company of the Post.
