Auto parts company creating 250 jobs in Lebanon

Atlanta-based automotive and industrial parts distributor Genuine Parts Company announced Tuesday it will invest $50 million to establish a new distribution facility in Lebanon, a move that will yield 250 jobs over the next five years.

Construction on the 325,000-square-foot facility is essentially complete, with the facility initially operational in September. However, the build-out of the GPC internal operations remains underway and will continue for several more months, according to a release. The new Wilson County facility will supply auto parts to approximately 300 NAPA Auto Parts stores. GPC is the parent of National Automotive Parts Association (NAPA Auto Parts), which was founded in 1925.
