‘My dream is a locally made grooming products business’

John Cascarano is a Nashville-based entrepreneur whose latest venture is men’s grooming products company Tame the Beast.

A Duke University graduate, Cascarano has spent the past 20 years creating consumer products and online retailer businesses. For example, as a college student he was a founding team member of Mental Floss (which was bought by the founder of Maxim magazine and is still in operation). He also created and sold online beauty product retailer Lock & Mane, which earned “Best of the Web” accolades from InStyle magazine.
