Centerstone Research Institute names CEO

Centerstone announced Monday that Dr. Richard C. Shelton has been named chief executive officer of Centerstone Research Institute and also as chief medical officer for the nonprofit itself.

In these roles, Shelton will advance the Nashville-based entity's national clinical programs and lead its efforts related to the delivery of care for those with mental health and addiction disorders, according to a release.
