Marsh names new Nashville office chief

Insurance broker Marsh has picked a new head for its local office, recruiting a veteran of Arthur J. Gallagher.

Todd Batson comes to Marsh, the world's largest brokerage, after spending 15 years at Gallagher and Gale Smith + Company, which Gallagher acquired in 2008. He is responsible for the overall success of Marsh's local Nashville office, which is home to 51 people.
