JPMorgan exec named CEO of Jackson National

Michael Falcon

Life insurer Jackson National, which has a large executive office in Cool Springs, has chosen a senior JPMorgan executive to succeed CEO Barry Stowe when he retires at year’s end.

Michael Falcon will join Jackson early next year and split his time between Franklin and Lansing, Michigan, the company’s official  headquarters. He has since 2015 been CEO of Asia Pacific for J.P. Morgan Asset Management and before that was based in New York as head of retirement for about five years. The 55-year-old spent most of the last decade at Merrill Lynch, including as head of strategy and finance for the U.S. private client business, and will be paid a salary of $800,000.
