Vanderbilt officials announced Monday that the New York State attorney general has granted the approval necessary for the university to finalize the lease of its future campus in New York City.

The announcement comes just about one year after Vanderbilt announced its intentions to establish a campus at the 13-building General Theological Seminary campus located in Manhattan's Chelsea district (read here). The main address is 440 W. 21st St.
