Officials with senior lifestyle care provider Blakeford Senior Life announced Tuesday a Dec. 10 groundbreaking at the nonprofit’s Blakeford at Green Hills, a $75 million expansion and update project.

To be undertaken at 11 Burton Hills Blvd. at the existing campus, the project will add more than 50 independent living apartment homes and various high-end amenities. The new construction will offer a collective 175,000 square feet, according to a release. A summer 2022 completion is eyed.
