Molloy Street update next step in hotel tower project

Efforts to develop a SoBro site with a hotel will take a step forward as Metro plans to reconfigure a segment of Molloy Street along which the proposed tower will face.

Nashville-based developer C.B. Ragland Co. is eyeing the hotel tower for the SoBro site across Second Avenue South from its 222 2nd mixed-use building. For years, a small brick building now home to a Wrangler pop-up retail store — and the long-time home of The Listening Room — has sat on the site.
