Lee Company announced Thursday that Richard Perko will step down as chief executive officer and will be succeeded by Caleb Lee, a company vice president and son of Gov. Bill Lee.

According to a release, the leadership transition at the Franklin-based home mechanical services company for which the governor once served as president and chief executive officer will be finalized Aug. 1.
