Ex-Opryland GM named to Ryman Hospitality retail post

Former Gaylord Opryland General Manager Pete Weien is returning to Ryman Hospitality Properties to play a key role in the company’s growing entertainment division.

Weien, who retired from his Opryland post in late 2016 after nearly a decade at the helm of the property, has been named senior vice president of new venue and retail operations for Opry Entertainment, which runs the Ryman Auditorium, the Grand Ole Opry and other venues, including new brands Ole Red and Opry City Stage.
