VUMC taps interim psychiatric hospital CEO

The CEO of Vanderbilt University Medical Center’s rehabilitation center has been tapped to also lead its psychiatric hospital on an interim basis.

Armando Colombo started work at Vanderbilt Stallworth Rehabilitation Hospital last fall and will soon begin overseeing Vanderbilt Psychiatric Hospital at the end of the month, when Harsh Trivedi will move to Maryland to lead a regional mental health and substance abuse system. A search committee has begun looking for Trivedi’s replacement at VPH and leader of Vanderbilt Behavioral Health, which also includes Vanderbilt Psychiatry Outpatient Clinics, behavioral health services on VUMC’s campus and mental health programs Vanderbilt runs in the community.
