Vanderbilt names president of adult hospital

Vanderbilt University Adult Hospital has named a Michigan Medicine executive its president, effective March 2.

Shon Dwyer will fill the spot formerly held by hospital CEO Mitchell Edgeworth, who left his position last May to join HCA Healthcare's TriStar division. Dwyer was the executive director of Michigan’s 750-bed University Hospital and Frankel Cardiovascular Center for the past four years.
