Task force to get plan to CMS by year-end

The 3-Star Healthy Task Force "met" Thursday afternoon, if one can consider a meeting in which only one member, Rep. Cameron Sexton (R-Crossville), was in attendance as a task force meeting. The topic was the overlap between behavioral health care and the state prison population, and whether the insurance coverage being worked out by the task force can help with the revolving door-like nature of those inmates. 

"If we’re getting someone help today, then three years later, they should be — if we’re providing good services, if we’re having better outcomes — they should be healthier, they should be more productive, they should be a thriving person in the state of Tennessee," Sexton said, offering high hopes for a thorny practical problem.
