Vandy golfers help lead U.S. to second straight Arnold Palmer Cup win

Vanderbilt golfers Gordon Sargent and Jackson Van Paris guided the United States team to a second straight Arnold Palmer Cup victory over the weekend.

Sargent, the top-ranked amateur in the world, went 3-1-0 in his matches at the Lahinch Golf Club in Ireland, helping the U.S. earn a 32.5-27.7 victory over a team of the best international collegiate players. Van Paris, the eighth-ranked amateur in the world, went 2-2-0 in his matches as the Americans won a second straight Palmer Cup.
