For the third time in program history, the East Nashville boys basketball team is heading to the TSSAA Class 2A state championship game.

The Eagles (32-3) defeated Power Center (20-5) 64-53 in the 2A semifinals Thursday at the Murphy Center in Murfreesboro on MTSU’s campus. The win advances them to the state championship game against Milan (25-7) on Saturday at 11 a.m.
