Dangerfield expects familiar role with Minnesota Lynx

When Connecticut point guard Crystal Dangerfield watched her name scroll across the screen as the Minnesota Lynx selected her with the 16^th pick in the 2020 WNBA draft, she knew she was entering a perfect situation.

Lynx head coach Cheryl Reeve runs a similar system to that of UConn coach Geno Auriemma, who Dangerfield — a Murfreesboro native and former Blackman High School standout — credits with her mental, emotional and physical approach to the game.
