Federal government hostage negotiator Adam Boehler and entrepreneur/author Shira Kupperman Boehler have made a $5 million gift to the Vanderbilt University Owen Graduate School of Management.

According to Vanderbilt, the philanthropic gesture from the Nashville couple will establish the Boehler Program in Healthcare Entrepreneurship and Innovation. HCEi will combine elements of business, medicine, technology and policy related to the city’s healthcare industry.
